Drift Buds
Drift Buds is a labyrinth puzzle where two Buds must be brought together on the same cell to win. The maze has deadly zones and unstable tiles that add tension to every move. Free to play in your browser with no download.
How to Play
Your goal is to get the cyan Bud and the green Bud onto the same cell so they synthesize and the level is complete. Movement is shared: every input slides both Buds in that direction at once. They keep moving in that direction until they hit a wall, hit each other, or one hits a hazard—so a single move can carry them across several cells. Plan carefully: the order and direction of your moves matter, and one wrong slide can trap a Bud or send it into danger. Red cells are hazards. If either Bud lands on or passes over a red cell, the level ends in failure—so trace the full path of each move before you commit. Orange tiles are unstable: they can collapse after you leave them. Once a Bud has left an orange tile, that tile may disappear, so you cannot always go back the same way. Plan your route so that both Buds reach the same cell without touching red, and cross orange sections before they collapse. Levels get harder with trickier layouts and more hazards; think several moves ahead to bring the two Jellies together safely.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I play Drift Buds?
Slide the player (cyan) and target (green) so they end on the same cell to synthesize. One input moves both in that direction until they hit a wall or each other. Avoid red cells and plan for collapsing orange tiles.
What are the red and orange cells?
Red cells are hazards—if the player or target lands on or passes over them, it's game over. Orange tiles can collapse after you leave them, so plan your path to cross them in time.
