Crown Rise - Chain Reaction Strategy Game
Crown Rise is a turn-based strategy game where you and the Crown's champion battle for control of the realm. Claim strongholds, trigger chain reactions, and capture territory across the grid. Choose from Quick Skirmish, Realm Battle, or Grand Dominion. Free to play in your browser—no download.
How to Play
You (blue) and the Crown's champion (red) take turns. On your turn, tap an empty cell or a cell you own to add one orb. Corner cells hold 2 orbs, edge cells 3, inner cells 4. When a cell reaches its limit it bursts and sends one orb to each of the four neighbors (up, down, left, right); those cells become yours or the AI's. If a neighbor then reaches its limit, it bursts too (chain reaction). You can only add orbs to empty or your own cells; you capture the AI's cells when your chain sends orbs into them. Eliminate all of the AI's orbs to win.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I win in Crown Rise?
Eliminate all of the AI's orbs (no red cells left) to win. You do this by placing orbs so that your bursts send orbs into the AI's cells, converting them to yours. If you lose all your orbs, the AI wins.
What are the cell limits?
Corner cells hold 2 orbs, edge cells 3, and inner cells 4. When a cell reaches its limit, it bursts and sends one orb to each of its four neighbors (up, down, left, right), and those cells become the bursting cell's owner.
What is a chain reaction?
When a cell bursts, it can cause neighboring cells to reach their limit and burst too. Those bursts can trigger more bursts. Chain reactions can flip large parts of the board in one turn.
Where can I add orbs?
You can only add orbs to empty cells or cells you already own. You capture the AI's cells when your chain reaction sends orbs into them.
